Customer issues
As a result of strong growth, the group had lost some of its operational vision and control over certain areas of its business, and commissioned APM to shed light on the remaining grey areas.
APM’s actions
Firstly, APM implemented SecuTools to regain operational control over the management of secure logistics centres and platforms.
As a 1st complement to SecuTools, APM has developed a specific software module for handling non-conformity notifications specific to secure logistics.
As a 2nd addition to SecuTools, APM has also developed another module for managing logistical routes, human resources and the resources required, supplemented by a specific time management section.
Following the 2nd addition to SecuTools, the SecuScore audit framework was developed and produced for the transport of cash and non-fiduciary valuables, including operations and security centres. SecuScore is used by all the Group’s service providers worldwide.
Finally, APM has developed two customer-specific software packages:
- Compliance, which simulates logistics routes between any points in the world. Compliance is capable of checking regulatory and insurance compliance, not forgetting the correct application of procedures by all those involved. Finally, Compliance is capable of managing the timing, locations and risks specific to each segment of the logistics route by displaying it on a map.
- SecuDocs, which manages and secures documents by enabling the different versions to be validated by all the players involved
APM has developed a risk analysis methodology for presentation to the European Central Bank.
